"Product Gets Rust Stains"
We are disappointed in this product. We purchased a few of these, and 2 of them, the 3 quart saucepan and this one, the 8 quart stockpot, both have gotten MULTIPLE SMALL CIRCULAR RUST STAINS all over the bottom of them (inside, where the food is cooked). I have tried to scrub these rust stains off, but they do not seem to respond to cleaning.

"Great Stock Pot at a great price"
Large capacity stock pot that looks as good as it works. Not too heavy. A great addition to my kitchenware!

"STICK WITH CUISINART"
I HAVE 4 STOCK POTS, 3 ALUMINUM AND 1 STAINLESS STEEL (CUISINART). I ALSO HAVE AN ELECTRIC COOKTOP (:( THE CUISINART HEATS MUCH MORE EVENLY THAN THE OTHERS AND TAKES LESS HEAT TO SIMMER FOODS. IT IS REMARKABLE HOW THE HANDLES REMAIN COOL EVEN WHEN BOILING LIQUIDS. THE SS CLEANS UP IN A JIFFY!

I LIKED IT SO MUCH THAT I REPLACED ALL MY OTHER POTS AND PANS WITH CUISINART. PAY A LITTLE MORE AND GET THE BEST.

"medium size"
I thought this was a huge pot but it isnt just medium size

"TERRIFIC PIECE OF KITCHEN EQUIPMENT"
Got this pot a few weeks ago and have used it several times - find it to be perfect for cooking long pasta. Prior to this I used a shorter / broader Cuisinart stock pot which was not the best size for long pasta. I love the Cuisinart line, they are sturdy, well made pots. This is a large capacity pot so you can make 2 lbs. of pasta without worrying about boiling over, sticking together, etc. It has plenty of room. It's perfect for making large batches of sauce, stocks, and soups.

What our customer's say!

"Burned on food, be gone!", I ordered this pot after finally losing patience with my old stockpot when the chili I was cooking in it burned onto to bottom yet again. This new stockpot allows me to cook long-simmering items like chili and spaghetti sauce without standing over the pot constantly stirring. Having used it several times now, I can definitively recommend it.

"love it", The prefect size, we cannot live with out. Super easy to clean and care for and it take up very little room.

"One beautiful, functional and reasonably priced pot.", I thought a 12 quart stockpot might be too large for the limited space in my condo, but I had had it with trying to fit everything into my 5.5 quart dutch oven and not being able to make larger tomato based recipes that called for a non-reactive pan. Cook's Illustrated rated this as highly recommended when compared with the All-Clad that is about 5 times as expensive, so I took the plunge. It's gorgeous. Fits my stove and my cupboard perfectly and now I'm ready to make that Hungarian Cabbage Roll recipe that I inherited! I was able to braise a large bag of ready washed kale in one batch with room to spare. Sturdy construction, fast to heat water for spaghetti. I'm still holding on to my 10 quart flimsy aluminum pan for some unknown reason, but expect it will head to the thrift store soon. Wish I had a rack to display this on - it's that impressive.

"Solid, Well-Made", Was exactly what I expected... a nice, big, well-made pot. There were no blemishes of any sort on the pot, and it works when you cook stuff with it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

"Stainless Steel", This concerns rust and stainless steel. Please note that some stainless steels will rust if subjected to -- cleaned with -- regular steel materials like Brillo pads made of "steel wool" material. Other steels that are allowed to touch the surface of stainless pots may cause the same. Who knows?

"Solid, everyday workhorse", A good basic stockpot for any kitchen. Can handle frequent use and high heat from a professional stove. Good heat transfer and easy to clean.

"Great performer", I just needed the 8qt. stockpot, went off America's Test Kitchen/Cooks Illustrated rating. All around high quality, but I really wish I had seen I could have purchased it for $51.95 and got a set with 3qt. and 10in. fry pan!!! Steal of the century!!!

"Quality and Servicable", There is no other cookware that can compare to Cuisnart! I have tried most expensive ones over the years. The classis stainless is easy to clean and and maintains it's mirror finish. It cooks even without sticking or scourching; I even think foods cook faster. With the all stainless construction you can cook on top of the stove or the oven in the same cookware; also use in the dishwasher. I have the complete set with extra pieces i.e. lasanga pan, large & small dutch ovens; 12 qrt stockpot; double boiler, etc.. For some one who wants great cookware you can't go wrong with Cuisinart!

"Excellent soup pot", I've made soup in this pot every weekend for the last 4 months, and it still cooks and looks like new. Easy to clean, even heating, very sturdy. I'd highly recommend it.

"nice flat surface- great for glass-top stoves!", I just purchased a glass top stove and my favorite (30 year old) stock pot did not sit flat on the cooking surface. This pot is exactly what I needed. Although it is a full 12 quarts, it is tall, versus wide, and fits the burner perfectly. No hot spots as in my old one. I think I have a new favorite!
